GOTOU is a female trio band formed in Sapporo, OTACO GOTOU (Gt & Vo), NANAE bendy GOTOU (Ba & Vo), CHIKAKO GOTOU (Dr). Since 2016, as a homage to the German band ’Malaria!’ In the 1980s, They have been active with unusual make-up and bass voice, and is currently dormant. This album is GOTOU's first album, and it is sensual like Siouxsie Sioux while giving a taste of early rough trade.

After practice at Studio POWER SLAVE, the launch was always done with Taiwanese cuisine ‘GOTOU’. Please listen to the songs "WHY" and "MY SHAPES" that were not un-released when this album was released. This was a live recording in a space outside Kyoto. (OTACO)

GOTOUとは、札幌で結成された、OTACO GOTOU （Gt&Vo）, NANAE bendy GOTOU （Ba&Vo）, CHIKAKO GOTOU （Dr）, の女性3人組バンド。2016年より、80年代のドイツのバンドMalaria!へのオマージュとして、奇抜なメイクと低音ボイスで活動し、現在は休止している。このアルバムはGOTOUのファーストアルバムで、初期ラフトレードのテイストも感じさせつつ、スージー・スーみたいで官能的(カバー曲1曲あり)！

スタジオPOWER SLAVEでの練習後の打ち上げはいつも台湾料理ごとうで行われていました。アルバム発売時には未収録の曲、『WHY』『MY SHAPES』もぜひ聴いてください。京都の外というスペースでのライブ録音です。（OTACO）
