This is Mahito The People’s third album for the first time in five years since his 2nd album "POPCOCOON" released in 2014.

2014年リリースの２nd アルバム『POPCOCOON』から実に5年ぶりとなるマヒトゥ・ザ・ピーポーのサード・アルバム。
青葉市子とのDUOであるNUUAMMや寺尾紗穂の新譜へのゲスト参加、バンドではテニスコーツとの合作など、様々なコラボレーションでうたの可能性を探してきた彼のシンガーソングライターとしての活動と、そして、自身がボーカルを務めるバンド、GEZANの活動を経て完成した作品である。
本アルバム『不完全なけもの』は、「平成がおわるまでにつくりたかった」とマヒトが語る。
これは、未来の視点から現代に贈られた、愛と皮肉が散りばめられた手紙のようでもあり、また、あたりまえの生活を彼独自の視点で切り取り、繊細に鋭い批評性を持って歌い上げた’作品’である。全身全霊を込めた彼の言葉には優しい眼差しが宿り、光を纏いポップスへと昇華する。彼を掬った楽曲たちが、世界も救っていくのだろう。
