From now on

NObLUE is a solo project by Sayuri Tsugaya, and started activities in Okinawa around 2004. She plays with voice, toys, piano, horns, and sounds. She is also active as a unit with 53235 (Gomi Fumiko), K'DLOKK. In 2013, she opened ‘parlor COTEF’ in Hamamatsu City and held events of foods and music, and it is indispensable for the scene due to its love and curiosity for the person. In 2008, released the 1st CD "gmuisstud-sketch-", and in 2012 released this 2nd album ”From now on". A gentle voice and a piano with a quiet touch beautifully reflect the true herself.

NObLUEは、津ヶ谷小百合のソロプロジェクトで、2004年頃より沖縄で活動を開始しました。声、おもちゃ、ピアノ、ホルン、物音などを使って演奏。53235（ゴミフミコ）とのユニット、K’DLOKK（ケイドロック）としても活動しています。また、2013年、浜松市で ‘parlor COTEF’ をオープン、飲食と音楽を中心にしたイベントを行い、その人への愛情と好奇心でシーンには欠かせない存在です。2008年に1stCD『gmuisstud-sketch-』をリリースし、2012年にこの2nd『爾今』をリリース。やさしい声と、静かなタッチのピアノが、本当の彼女をきれいに映し出しています。

Her favorite thing had been playing short pieces, etudes, and not-a-song stuffs in piano lessons since she was 5.

She knew the fun of being in ensemble when she was playing the horn in junior highschool brass band. 

At the same time, she wandered into a secret cave of long solitary study like fine arts, BUCK-TICK, family affairs, sculptures, Nakatajima dune, dance works, mandarin oranges, and words. 

John Cage and Eric Satie were hit in the process. Piano lessons and schools did not tell her those names.

After going to university in Okinawa, NObLUE formed a music duo called K'DLOKK with 53235 in 2004. And many other things began for NObLUE in this southmost prefecture.

As in cinema every motifs which are shot and screened are epually worthful, what has been moving NObLUE in music is "ocurrings" and "goingouts" of any sounds and vocals in a situation.

She challenged to make this kind of stuff done somehow with the piano and vocals in her solo work "From now on" which was recorded in 80% improvisation and 20% preparation.

5歳から通っていたピアノ教室では、発表会も好きだったが、練習曲の小品や、曲ではないものを思うままに弾くのも大好きだった。

中学の吹奏楽部でホルンを担当してアンサンブルの楽しさを知ると同時に、他の誰にも触れられず彷徨うたった一人の洞窟にも立ち入っていった。美術、BUCK-TICK、家庭、彫刻、砂丘、身体表現、蜜柑、言語。

途中でついにケージとサティを知った。もめ事でやめてしまっていたピアノ教室や、学校などではそんな名前は教えてくれなかった。

沖縄で過ごした大学時代に53235とケイドロックを結成。そのほかたくさんの事、関わりが沖縄で始まった。

映画の中でスクリーンに映っているものすべてが均等に価値を持つ様に、音楽においてNObLUEの心を動かすのは、それがどんな種類のものでも、ある状況の中ですべての音や歌が「出る事、発される事」自体だった。

それが何とかして自分の歌とピアノでできないものかと、2012年のソロ作「爾今」には、準備2：即興8のバランスを取り、

それまで培った意気地なしと不屈の両方で挑んだ。
