inochi is a "chamber pop" band founded by Daichi Minaki who plays in a band, yumbo and his friends in Sendai in 2017. This is their live recording from “Till We Meet Again”, a concert held on March 21st in 2020 at Nanahari in Hacchobori, Tokyo. Coincidentally, this album captures the turning point of the band. After this concert, Shion H ashimoto (vl.) left the group and Kazuhiro Natori, the guest drummer, joined them permanently. Minaki, the composer for inochi, often takes motifs from his experiences in daily life. “Vanishing Point” is about his coworker who suddenly disappeared from office. “Resistance” depicts the war between him and the bugs invading his house.

2017年、yumboのメンバーとしても活動する皆木大知を中心として仙台で結成されたチェンバー・ポップ・バンド、inochi。 2020年3月21日、八丁堀七針で録音されたこのライブ音源はフィジカル化されておらず、この配信のみのリリース。バイオリンの橋本詩苑はこのライブ後脱退。サポートで参加していた名取一祐はこのライブの翌日正式メンバーに加入。バンドとしての転換期の音源と言える。皆木の曲は日常生活で考えたこと、実際に起きた出来事をモチーフにした曲が多い。例えば「消失点」はある日突然職場に来なくなり消えてしまった同僚について。「抵抗」は家に侵入して来る様々な虫との攻防をテーマにして作られている。
