Three years had elapsed since Gofish’s third album Totemo Ii Koto attracted a lot of attention and excitement for its depth of Makoto Inada & Seijiro Kuroda’s string arrangement and Shota Terai’s unique craft of songwriting. With a busy itinerary of live performances, two 7" records (“Record/Ito" and "Nemuri wo matsu aida/Yamagomori," and a collaborative 10" record with Satoko Shibata under their belts, the long-awaited fourth full-length album of Gofish was finally completed with the help of mastering wizard Bunsho Nishikawa. Featuring a more confident and visceral performance than ever before, the striking lows of the contrabass, crying tones of the cello, and weight of the vocals were meticulously captured by Nishikawa in Yokan No Jikan (Time for Premonitions).
