In April 2021, Zayaendo's third work was completed, mainly through one-shot recordings with members who had not met for a long time, but also through a series of remote overdubs. Many of the members brought their own songs to this album, making it more diverse and less central. It has been a real pleasure to play together.
Because of the corona situation, we looked for a place where we wouldn't have to be in a closed room, and we were allowed to record at the "manned island" in Kitamoto, which is an empty house that has been converted and seems to be well ventilated. The house, which had no water or electricity yet, was really like an island, just us humans who had entered it, and the pheasants' voices echoed well around us.

2021年4月、久しぶりに会したメンバーでの一発録りをメインに、遠隔でのオーバーダビングも重ねて、完成した、ざやえんどうの第３弾作品。本作は、多くのメンバーが曲を持ち寄り、多彩で、より中心のないアルバムになりました。一緒に演奏することを心から喜んでいます。
コロナ状況もあったので、密室でない場所を探したところ、空き家を改造していて風通しの良さそうな北本の「有人島」で録音させてもらうことになりました。まだ、水も電気も来ていないその家は、本当に島のようで、そこに入り込んだ私たち人間だけ、周りにはキジの声がよく響いていました。
聴いていただけるのが嬉しいです。

Zayaendo Profile :
Zayaendo was formed in 2016 by Saya and Satomi Endo (Biobiopatata) after Saya was inspired by a performance of Hochzeitskapelle, who she saw in Munich. The band also includes Tomoaki Saito, Masaharu Seki (sekifu), Ueno (Tenniscoats), Kiyokazu Onozaki (Ander sens, 2B) and other musicians who play with other bands or as solo artists. Zayaendo consists of somewhere between ten and twenty musicians (depending on who is available to play at that time) and forms an orchestra that plays each other’s compositions as well as covers of experimental timeless masterpieces. Since the band play acoustic instruments, their per formance venues vary from the street to the forest. In 2018, the band played at the Alien Disko Festival #3 with their beloved Hochzeitskapelle, where together they took part in a parade through the streets of Munich to cele brate and ring in the festival. In 2019, their first album ‘Zayaendo music’ was released on the majikick label.

ざやえんどう プロフィール：
2016年、ミュンヘンでHochzeitskappele(ホ ッホツァイツカペレ)の演奏にインスパイアされ、 日本に帰ったさやが遠藤里美 (biobiopatata) と立ち上げたバンド。普段は、他のバンドや ソロで活動するメンバー、斉藤友秋、関 雅 晴 (sekifu)、植野隆司 (テニスコーツ)、小野崎 清一 (アンデルセンズ、つびー)ら、10〜20 人が集まりブラスバンドを編成、互いの楽曲、 名曲を演奏する画期的な試み。完全アコース ティックで、街の中、森の中などの野外でもよく 演奏する。2018年、ミュンヘンのAlien Disko Festival#3に参加し、念願のホッホツァイツカペレと共演、一緒に街を行進した。2019 年、majikickより1stアルバム&スコア『ざやえんどうの音楽』をリリース。
