GOD OF BEDTOWN

A collection of soundtracks for filmmaker Taku Utsumi's film "Bedtown Gods in the Lowcountry Forest," a mini-album by the four-member ensemble kabutomushi. Makoto Kawamoto participated as a guest vocalist . This work received a buy-up award from the Department of Media Imaging, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. Taku Utsumi's work is based on the motif of souvenirs found in every city. The work consists of seven video works: an excavation kit from which the souvenirs are unearthed, five video works about the souvenirs unearthed from the excavation kit, a commercial for the excavation kit, and an epilogue. Kabutomushi created music inspired by each souvenir. The result is a catchy piece of work. Please enjoy!

映像作家・内海拓の作品『ベッドタウンの神様　in 低俗の森』サウンドトラック集。4人組アンサンブル、カブトムシによるミニアルバムです。 ゲストボーカルに川本真琴さんが参加してくださいました。 この作品は、東京藝術大学映像研究科メディア映像専攻の買い上げ賞を受賞しました。 内海拓の作品は、地域性が欠如した、どこの街にもあるお土産をモチーフにした作品です。 この作品は、お土産が出土する発掘キット、発掘キットから出土するお土産を題材にした5つの映像作品、発掘キットのCM、エピローグを合わせた7つの映像作品によって構成されています。 カブトムシは、それぞれのお土産からインスピレーションを得て音楽を制作しました。 キャッチーな作品に仕上がりました。お楽しみください。
