biobiopatata（2015）

This is a biobiopatata 1st full album released in 2015. Except a contrabass, the other instruments players are all females including the leader, Satomi Endo. 

A delicate beauty brass band including classical and dramatic developments but never difficult to enjoy.

Basic playing was recorded at Namiki Kindergarten in Shiina-cho, Tokyo and a new story was added by the mixing by Taku Unami, and it had the taste like the movie’s soundtrack.

Since biobiopatata has been formed at the end of 2012, they have been recording and playing while wondering what kind of music they could do. So the atmosphere of the early time of them has been left, fresh!

2015年にリリースされた、biobiopatata1stフルアルバムです。弦を除き、リーダーの遠藤里美をはじめとして、管楽器、女性メインによる天女楽団。時にクラシックのような、また、ドラマチックな展開も含みつつ、決して難解ではない、繊細美ブラスバンド。

ベーシックは、椎名町の並木幼稚園で二度にわたり録音され、宇波拓のミックスにより新たなストーリーが加えられ、サウンドトラックのような味わいです。

2012年末に結成されてから、彼女たちがどのような音楽をやることができるのか迷いながら作曲・演奏していた、biobiopatata結成当初の空気を残した録音です、フレッシュ。

biobiopatata is :

unique forming brassband which is consist of flute, oboe, Sax, Accordion, Cello, Tuba, sometimes Contrabass.

In 2012, they were formed by Satomi Endo and mainly women players in Tokyo, and they have released 2 albums, LP, cassettes with changing some members. They also collaborate with other musicians. They based on Tango, Pops, Jazz, Classic and Contemporary music, and Japanese Chin-don. Their sound is so beautiful, charming, and also unique and so friendly.

biobiopatataはフルート、オーボエ、サックス、アコーディオン、チェロ、チューバ、時にコントラバスからなる特殊編成の女性をメインにした吹奏楽バンド。2012年の結成後、東京都内を中心に活動、メンバーチェンジもしながら、フルアルバム2枚、LP、カセットテープのリリースをしている。他アーティストとのコラボレーションも多数。タンゴやポップス、ジャズ、クラシック、現代音楽等をベースにした美しさと、日本のチンドンの流れを組む遠藤を中心とした演奏は、美しくチャーミングでありながらも、独特のテイストを持ち、親しみやすさがあります。
